    Online Safety for Schools

Keeping Children Safe in Education requires all school staff, not just the safeguarding lead, to receive safeguarding and child protection training that includes online safety, updated at least annually. CyberSafe Coach+ covers that for every adult in the building through a free 5-minute staff check and weekly bite-size tasks. Annual staff licences are £595 for a primary school and £995 for a secondary.

What does online safety training for schools cover?

Most schools have an online safety policy. Far fewer have a calm, weekly habit of practising it. We give staff small, sector-specific prompts that take a few minutes and quietly raise everyone's awareness over time.

The work is aligned with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and helps your Designated Safeguarding Lead evidence ongoing staff training when inspectors ask.

Does it cover pupils as well as staff?

Strong staff habits create the foundation for strong pupil habits. Once your team feels confident, we share family-friendly resources you can pass on to parents and carers, supporting cyber safety education for pupils at home as well as in class.

    • Age-appropriate guidance for primary and secondary settings
    • Plain-English parent resources you can attach to newsletters
    • Scenarios for staff INSET and safeguarding meetings
    • Evidence trail for Ofsted and governors
