Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
Welcome to CyberSafe Coach+. These terms explain what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've kept it in plain English, no legal jargon.
An actively evolving service
CyberSafe Coach+ is actively evolving. This means:
- • CyberSafe Coach+ offers free access for individuals and families
- • Paid subscription plans are available for organisations, see cybersafecoach.co.uk/pricing for current rates
- • We are actively developing new features and the platform continues to evolve
- • Features may change or improve as we grow
What we provide
CyberSafe Coach+ offers educational guidance to help you understand and improve your digital safety. We provide:
- • A safety assessment to understand your current situation
- • Personalised recommendations based on your answers
- • Step-by-step guidance to address potential risks
- • Tools to check if messages might be scams
- • Emergency guidance if something has gone wrong
Connecting your systems (for organisations)
If your organisation connects its Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, CyberSafe Coach+ runs an optional, read-only safety check of your sign-in settings, for example whether two-factor login is on, who holds admin access, and whether there are dormant accounts. A few things to know:
- • Optional and read-only, we can look at your security settings, but we can never change anything in your systems, and we never read the content of emails, files, calendars or messages.
- • Least access only, we request the minimum access needed for the check, and your administrator approves it when connecting.
- • We store only a summary, a short summary of the result, such as whether two-factor login is enabled, not a copy of your directory. The access used to read it is used once and then discarded.
- • You are the controller, we are the processor, your organisation is the data controller and CyberSafe Coach Plus Ltd is the processor, acting only on your instructions. This is governed by a separate Data Processing Agreement covering our obligations, sub-processors, security and deletion. Contact us at admin@cybersafecoach.co.uk for a copy.
- • Disconnect any time, when you disconnect, we delete the stored summary.
End User Licence Agreement (EULA)
Licence grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use CyberSafe Coach+ for its intended purpose, improving your digital safety. This licence does not transfer any ownership of our intellectual property to you.
Prohibited activities

- • Scrape, crawl, or extract data, use bots, spiders, scrapers, harvesting tools, or any automated means to access, index, collect, or extract content, data, or information from the platform
- • Reproduce or redistribute, copy, duplicate, sell, resell, license, sublicense, or distribute any content, assessments, frameworks, scoring systems, or training materials from the platform

- • Circumvent security, bypass, disable, or interfere with any security features, access controls, rate limits, or technical measures protecting the service
- • Create derivative works, build competing products, services, or tools based on our content, methodology, behavioural models, or framework mappings
- • Misuse API or data access, use any API, feed, or data export in ways not explicitly authorised, or exceed reasonable usage limits
- • Impersonate or misrepresent, falsely claim affiliation with CyberSafe Coach+ or misrepresent the source of any content obtained from the platform
Data ownership
Your data belongs to you. Assessment results, profile information, and any content you provide remain your property. However, all platform content, including our methodology, assessments, scoring systems, behavioural models, frameworks, training materials, and software, is and remains the exclusive intellectual property of CyberSafe Coach Plus Ltd.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without prior notice if you breach any of these terms or engage in prohibited activities. Upon termination, your licence to use the service ceases immediately. We may also pursue legal remedies where appropriate.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CyberSafe Coach Plus Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

International users

Acceptable use
We ask that you:
- • Use the service for its intended purpose, improving your digital safety

- • Don't use automated tools to scrape or overload the service
- • Don't use the service for anything illegal
- • Provide accurate information when creating an account
We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
Intellectual property
The CyberSafe Coach platform, methodology, assessments, scoring systems and training materials are proprietary to CyberSafe Coach Plus Ltd and may not be reproduced, copied or distributed without written permission.
Important limitations
We're not a replacement for professional advice
Our guidance is educational. For serious incidents, contact your bank, the police, or relevant authorities directly. We provide guidance, but we can't take action on your behalf.
Scam Check isn't perfect
Our AI-powered Scam Check is a helpful tool, but it can make mistakes. A "low risk" result doesn't guarantee a message is safe. Always pause if something feels wrong and verify through official channels.
We can't guarantee uptime
As the service is actively evolving, it may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or due to technical issues.
Liability is limited
We provide this service in good faith, but we can't be held liable for any losses arising from your use of the service or from following our recommendations. You remain responsible for your own decisions.
Your account
- • You're responsible for keeping your account secure
- • You can delete your account at any time
- • We may delete inactive accounts after extended periods
- • When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the service. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
By using CyberSafe Coach+, you agree to these terms, the End User Licence Agreement above, and our Privacy Policy.
