Safeguarding at CyberSafe Coach
Child safety is at the heart of everything we build. This page explains how the platform is designed with safeguarding in mind.
Our Commitment
CyberSafe Coach is built on the principle that every child and young person deserves to feel safe online. Our content is designed to build confidence, not fear, and to complement the safeguarding already provided by parents, carers, and schools.
We follow safeguarding best practice and design all children's content with age-appropriateness, trauma-informed language, and accessibility in mind. Our children's section is informed by trusted sources and recognised frameworks for online safety education.
What This Platform Does and Does Not Do
What we do
- Provide age-appropriate educational content about online safety
- Offer interactive games and scenarios to build digital confidence
- Signpost children and adults to trusted help organisations
- Support parents, carers, and educators with practical guidance
What we do not do
- We do not collect personal data from children
- We do not require accounts or logins to access children's content
- We do not monitor, track, or profile children's behaviour
- We do not ask personal questions or store responses
- We are not a replacement for parental supervision, school safeguarding policies, or professional support
If You Are Worried About a Child
If you have concerns about a child's safety, whether online or offline, please take action. You do not need to be certain that abuse is happening to report a concern.
