Accessibility statement

You should be able to:

• zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
• change the font (including Lexend and OpenDyslexic), text size, letter spacing, line spacing and background colour, using Reading comfort in the menu
• see still images instead of moving ones, if your device is set to reduce motion
• use the website on a phone, tablet or computer

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, level AA, because of the issues listed below.

• The moving picture at the top of the home page has no pause button. If your device is set to reduce motion, you see a still photo instead (WCAG 2.2.2).
• Some videos, including the practice scenarios and the evidence report walkthrough, don't have captions or a transcript yet (WCAG 1.2.2).
• Some PDFs, including the reports you can download and our data processing agreement, may not work well with screen readers (WCAG 1.3.1).
• Some games in the children's area use a countdown on purpose, as part of the lesson, and it can't be turned off (WCAG 2.2.1).

We're working on each of these. If one of them stops you doing something, tell us and we'll find another way to help.

This statement was prepared on 17 October 2026. We ran automated checks against WCAG 2.2 level AA on 15 of our most used pages, including the home page, the safety check, the scam checker, urgent help, pricing, the children's area and the pages for each type of organisation. We fixed the two colour contrast issues the checks found on the same day.

Next we will test with a keyboard and a screen reader. We'll review this statement at least once a year, and after any big change.
