    Free Platform Access for Charities

CyberSafe Foundation CIC funds free CyberSafe Coach+ access for UK charities that cannot afford a subscription. Apply online, we check your registration against the public register, and approved organisations get the full platform at no cost. Eligibility is based on your circumstances rather than your size, and international organisations can apply too.

    How It Works

CyberSafe Coach+ provides practical, plain-English cyber safety tools for organisations of all kinds. We know that the charities and community groups who work with the most vulnerable people are often the ones with the least budget for digital safety.

That's why CyberSafe Foundation CIC, our registered community interest company, operates a Charity Access Programme, funded by contributions from our SME subscribers through the CyberSafe Pledge.

The CyberSafe Pledge: CyberSafe Coach donates 2% of every subscription and every Team Safety Snapshot or Personal Safety Report purchase straight to the CIC, automatically, no opt-in required. Subscribers can also choose to add an optional 10% community contribution on top. Those pooled funds are used exclusively to provide free or subsidised access to registered charities, schools, and community organisations.

    Are You Eligible?

To apply for funded access through the CIC Charity Access Programme, your organisation must meet all of the following:

    • Registered as a charity with the Charity Commission (England & Wales), OSCR (Scotland), or CCNI (Northern Ireland)
    • UK-based organisation
    • Demonstrated financial need, annual income below £100,000, or evidence the standard £35/month rate is a genuine barrier
    • Intends to use the platform for staff, volunteers, or beneficiary support, not for commercial purposes
    • Willing to submit a brief impact report after 6 months and at each annual renewal

Not sure if you're eligible? Email us at admin@cybersafecoach.co.uk and we'll be happy to talk it through before you submit a full application.

    International Organisations

Organisations outside the UK, including US 501(c)(3) nonprofits, Australian registered charities (ACNC), Canadian registered charities (CRA), and EU equivalents, are welcome to apply by emailing us with their registration details for manual review.

Funded access may be limited outside the UK at present, but we encourage all enquiries. We're committed to expanding our community access programme internationally.

    What If Funds Aren't Available?

We believe in being completely honest about how this works. The CIC can only spend what it holds, and in the early stages of the programme, that means funds may not always be available immediately.

CIC Fund StatusWhat HappensOutcome for You
Funds availableWe approve your application and set up access immediatelyFree platform access, no charge to your organisation
Partial fundsWe offer a subsidised rate, the CIC covers the gapYou pay a reduced amount; we cover the rest
No funds availableWe place you on our transparent waitlist and tell you your positionYou're notified when funding becomes available
You can't waitWe point you to the cheapest plan for your team sizeFrom £15/month if you are on your own, £25 for five or fewer, £35 for up to 50

If you're on the waitlist, you'll receive honest updates about your position. We use our waitlist as evidence of demand when applying for external grants, so being on it directly helps us secure more funding faster.

    Common questions

Is this genuinely free, or will we be charged later?
Yes, it is genuinely free for as long as CIC funds are available to cover your access. You will never be charged without your explicit agreement. If funding changes, we will always tell you in advance and discuss your options.
How does the CIC pay for our access?
CyberSafe Foundation CIC is funded three ways. First, the CyberSafe Pledge: CyberSafe Coach donates 2% of every subscription and every Team Safety Snapshot or Personal Safety Report purchase straight to the CIC, automatically, no opt-in needed. Second, subscribers can choose to add an optional one-off 10% social impact donation at checkout. Third, the Sponsored Access Programme, from £420 a year, where a business sponsors one named local school, charity or community group for a full year and receives public recognition plus a quarterly impact report. These pooled funds are used exclusively to provide free or subsidised access.
    What is the impact report?
After 6 months and at each annual renewal, we ask for a brief summary of how the platform has been used and the difference it has made. This helps us demonstrate community benefit and supports future funding applications.
What if our circumstances change after we are approved?
If your financial situation improves, or if you no longer need access, simply let us know. We will adjust your access accordingly so the funds can support another organisation.
Can we share the platform with our beneficiaries?
Your funded access covers your staff and volunteers. We are exploring ways to extend appropriate resources to beneficiaries in the future, get in touch if this is something you would find valuable.
How long does the application take?
The form itself takes around 10–15 minutes to complete. Once submitted, we aim to respond within 10 working days.
